Comédienne, chanteuse et danseuse, Gwenn Le Métayer se frotte à l'écriture par à coups depuis quelques années. Elle produit  une poésie en prose tantôt nouvelle, tantôt feuilleton, qu'elle publie  sur un blog  (duchesseatwork.blogspot.fr). Quelques uns de ses textes ont été publiés dans la revue Les Refusés. Gwenn travaille actuellement à une presque retranscription du film d'Ingmar Bergman, The Silence, qu'elle écrit comme elle le voit, en quasi simultané. Son actualité du moment est musicale. Elle est la voix de Regularscope (soundcloud.com/regularscope). Ce soir, elle fera une lecture-performance et une performance musicale.

Kate Noakes est poète, auteure de nouvelles, romancière et membre élu du « Welsh Academy ». L’auteur des

livres: Ocean to Interior, (Mighty Erudite, 2007), The Wall Menders, (Two Rivers Press, 2009), Cape Town (Eyewear Publishing, 2012) et  I-spy and Shanty (corrupt press, 2014). Kate Noakes a également collaboré à des revues, notamment Poetry Wales, Mslexia, Planet, The North, Poetry Ireland Review, Envoi, The SHOp, Magma, The Wolf et Poetry Salzburg Review.  Co-fondatrice de Paris Lit Up, association 1901 pour la littérature à Paris, elle co-édite et est la co-rédactrice en chef de leur revue de littérature anglophone (Paris Lit Up Magazine), co-organisatrice de leurs ateliers d’écriture (Paris Lit Up Writing Workshops) et leur cycle hebdomadaire de lectures et de scènes ouvertes (Paris Lit Up Open Mic). Frédéric Benhaim vit à Paris et écrit en anglais et en français. Il a lancé en avril 2012 le blog www.les-commerces.net. Chaque semaine l'auteur y publie une nouvelle librement inspirée du réel sur le thème du petit commerce. Ils ont également fait l'objet d'une mise en avant dans le magazine culturel Profondeur de champs. Les textes ont fait l'objet d'une adaptation théâtrale en juin 2013 pour le théâtre Le Passage Vers les Etoiles (Père Lachaise, Paris). Il travaille aussi à un nouveau blog en anglais et à des projets pour enfants et adultes.

Kate Noakes is a poet, short fiction writer, novelist and elected member of the Welsh Academy. Her published poetry collections include: Ocean to Interior, Mighty Erudite, 2007. The

Wall Menders, Two Rivers Press, 2009. Cape Town, Eyewear Publishing, 2012.  I-spy and Shanty, corrupt press, 2014. Her work has also been widely published in magazines such as Poetry Wales, Mslexia, Planet, The North, Poetry Ireland Review, Envoi, The SHOp, Magma, The Wolf and Poetry Salzburg Review, and in the UK national press. She has  performed at venues as diverse as The Troubadour, Glastonbury Festival, the Poetry Society, Nottingham Poetry Festival and Henley Literature Festival, as well as many of the Paris reading series. She co-founded Paris Lit Up, a not for profit literature organization in the City of Lights within whose structure she co-edits Paris Lit Up Magazine, co-hosts both the weekly and monthly Paris Lit Up Writing Workshops and co-host the weekly Paris Lit Up Open Mic. Frédéric Benhaim lives in France but grew up between France and the United States, and has been deeply influenced by both cultures. He writes numerous blogs, in particular one that he founded last year where, every week, he tells the story of an imaginary shop (the theme changes from week to week—and it is in French: www.les-commerces.net). In 2013 the stories were adapted for the stage in a theatre production starring Virginia Galvan at Le Passage Vers les Etoiles (Père Lachaise, Paris). Les commerces was also featured by a cultural magazine in Paris (Profondeur de Champs), which also published a story from the blog. Frederic writes in both languages and has also published short stories and non-fiction.

Actress, singer and dancer, Gwenn Le Métayer has been writing a kind of

poetry in prose, sometimes short story, othertimes seried sagas which she publishes in French on her blog  (duchesseatwork.blogspot.fr). A few of these texts have appeared in the literary magazine Les Refusés. Gwenn is currently working on a retranscription of Ingmar Bergman’s film, The Silence, that she is writing as she watches it, quasi-simultaneously. Her primary mode of expression at the moment is also musical. She is the voice of Regularscope (soundcloud.com/regularscope). Tonight, Gwenn will read and sing for us.

Michael Heller vit à New York. Il est l’auteur de plus de 20 livres--de la poésie, des essais,

JACQUES REBOTIER (né en 1950) peut être défini comme un créateur inclassable de par ses multiples activités : écrivain, poète, compositeur, comédien, metteur en scène. Il est l’auteur de nombreux ouvrages, entre autres, de Litaniques (2000) et Le Dos de la langue (2001) dans la collection « L’Arbalète » (Gallimard). Son théâtre est publié par Les solitaires intempestifs : Le Désordre des langages, 1, 2, 3 (1998-1999) ; Vengeance tardive (2001) ; La Vie est courbe (2001) ; Réponse à la question précédente (2002). « Son style est caractérisé par une constante proximité des marges et un malin plaisir à transgresser les codes. Ses créations, interpellations conviendrait mieux, sont tout à la fois point de vue sur l'état du monde, critique des rapports humains, travail sur la mécanique des mots, mais toujours parcourues d'une énergie joyeuse. Elles mêlent lecture-performance, concert-performance, poésie, photographie, montages vidéo, théâtre-installation... et s'articulent autour d'une écriture exigeante. Arpine Konyalian Grenier, an Armenian-American born in Beirut and educated at Beirut University then Bard College in the USA, has authored four collections of

poetry, most recently, The Concession Stand: Exaptation at the Margins (Otoliths, 2011). Her 3 earlier collections are Part, Part Euphrates (NeO Pepper Press, 2007),Whores from Samarkand (Flf Pr, 1993) and St. Gregory's Daughter (University of La Verne Press, 1991). Her work has been described as a mosaic of narrative that takes us out of our provincial concentration on American life to encompass broader social and geopolitical issues with a decidedly urban and postmodern sensibility. Individual poems and translations are also available in such publications as How2, Columbia Poetry Review, The Iowa Review, Fence, Sulfur, Envoi, Phoebe, Verse, Big Bridge, Shampoo Inertia Magazine, EOAGH and elsewhere, including several anthologies. In addition to her own writing, she participated in the group translation of So Translating Rivers and Cities by Zhang Er, (Zephyr Press, translated from the Chinese by Bob Holman, Arpine Konyalian Grenier, Timothy Liu, Bill Ransom, Susan Schultz and Leonard Schwartz). Peter Cockelbergh is editor of Pierre Joris—Cartographies of the In-between (Litteraria Pragensia, 2011), and translator of Boris Groys's Portrait de l’artiste en masochiste (Éditions Arkhê, 2013). Current projects include translation of Joris’ A Nomad Poetics, editing an online anthology of Deep Image(-related) writings, and co-editing, with Pierre Joris, the collected essays of Robert Kelly as well as a book on Robert Kelly (ContraMundum Press, 2013).  November 7-8 2013 at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Peter will be co-convening, with Franca Bellarsi, an international poetry seminar titled, Moving Back and Forth between Poetry as/and Translation: Nomadic Travels and Travails with Alice Notley and Pierre Joris.
