CJ Evans
CJ Evans is the author of A Penance (New Issues Press, 2012), which was a finalist for the Northern California Book Award and The Category of Outcast, selected by Terrance Hayes for the Poetry Society of America’s New American Poets chapbook series. He edited, with Brenda Shaughnessy, Satellite Convulsions: Poems from Tin House, and his work has appeared in journals such as Boston Review, Colorado Review, Indiana Review, Pleiades, and Virginia Quarterly Review.
CJ is the editor of Two Lines Press, the publishing program of the Center for the Art of Translation, which has quickly grown into a premier publisher of international literature, and he has edited translations of the works of authors like Marie NDiaye, Jonathan Littell, and Naja Marie Aidt. He also edits Two Lines: World Writing in Translation, a bi-annual journal of the best international literature in translation and curates Two Voices, an event series in San Francisco. He is a contributing editor for Tin House, and occasionally teaches, most recently in the MFA program at the University of San Francisco.
Prior to working at Two Lines Press, CJ was an editor at Tin House for 8 years, and worked at the Academy of American Poets. He received his MFA from Columbia University, and his BA from Reed College, where he wrote a thesis on the poetics of American Hip-Hop. He was the recipient of the 2013 Amy Lowell Traveling Scholarship, and currently lives in Aix-en-provence, France, with his wife, daughter, and son.

Il édite aussi Two Lines: World Writing in Translation, un journal biannuel de la meilleure littérature international en translation et dirige Two Voices, une série a San Francisco.             Avant de travailler à Two Lines Press, CJ était un éditeur a Tin House pour 8 ans et a travailler a l’académie de poètes américains. Eugene Ostashevsky
Eugene Ostashevsky is a Russian-American poet and translator currently teaching at New York University in Paris. As the author of two books and ten chapbooks of poetry, most notably The Life and Opinions of DJ Spinoza (Ugly Duckling Presse), he has appeared in Best American Poetry, and received awards from the Fund for Poetry, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD). His writing (samples on lyrikline.org) is characterized by multilingual punning, humor puerile and set-theoretical, philosophical depth and narratological handicaps. He might or might read from his new manuscript The Pirate Who Does Not Know the Value of Pi. As scholar and translator of Russian avant-garde poetry, especially by the 1930s underground writers Alexander Vvedensky and Daniil Kharms, he has received the National Translation Award, the Best Translated Book Award, the NEA, the PEN/Heim, and other translation prizes. He has had his librettos for contemporary classical music performed in Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. 

Eugene Ostashevsky est un poète russo-américain et traducteur qui travaille
couramment à l’Université de New York a Paris. En tant qu’auteur de deux livres et dix chapbook de poésies, notamment The Life and Opinions of DJ Spinoza, il a parue dans Best American Poetry, et a reçue des prix de la Fund for Poetry, la fondation des Arts de New York et le Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD). En tant que scolaire et traducteur de la poésie russe avant-garde, surtout des les années trente pour les écrivains moins connue comme Alexander Vvedensky et Daniil Kharms, il a reçue le prix Nationale da la Traduction, le Prix du Livre le mieux traduit, la NEA, la PEN/Heim et autres prix de traduction. Ses livrets de la musique classique contemporaine ont été performées en Italie, l’Allemagne et les Pays-Bas.

Jacques Demarcq:
Interroge les limites du sens, questionne les cultures. Membre du collectif TXT de 1979 à 1985. Demarcq est né en 1946 à Compiègne, et il vit actuellement à Paris. Il a été postier, journaliste, prof de lettres, syndic, historien, membre de la revue TXT(1979-1985), éditeur et critique d’art, producteur de radio, prof de design. Il est toujours : traducteur, écrivain. Il a beaucoup traduit E. E. Cummings, un peu Gertrude Stein et Andrea Zanzotto. A publié plus d’une douzaine de livres personnels. Dernièrement : Les Zozios, Nous, 2008, dont il a donné et donne de nombreuses lectures publiques ; et Nervaliennes, Corti, 2010. Dan Machlin is the Founder and Executive Editor of Futurepoem books, a New York City based publishing collaborative that champions innovative writing. He is the author of Dear Body: (Ugly Duckling Presse 2007) which received a "Face Out" CLMP/Jerome Foundation grant for emerging writers. His other books include 6x7 (Ugly Ducking Presse), THIS SIDE FACING YOU (Heart Hammer) and IN REM (@ Press). His poems and essays have recently appeared in SOME ESSAYS ABOUT A BIBLIOGRAPHY (Ed. Tan Lin, LULU), ONE WORD: CONTEMPORARY WRITERS ON THE WORDS THEY LOVE AND LOATH (Sarabande Books), American Book Review and Crayon. His poetry has also recently been displayed at PS1 Art Museum and he has also collaborated on a full length Audio CD with singer/cellist Serena Jost (Immanent Audio). He is currently finishing a new collection of poems and as well a book of essays/performance texts. Laura Mullen
is a Professor at Louisiana State University. She is the author of three collections of poetry—The Surface, After I Was Dead, and Subject—and two hybrid texts, The Tales of Horror (Kelsey Street Press 1999), and Murmur (futurepoem books 2007). Prizes for her poetry include Ironwood’s Stanford Prize, and she has been awarded a Board of Regents ATLAS grant, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and a Rona Jaffe Award, among other honors. She has had several MacDowell Fellowships and is a frequent visitor at the Summer Writing Program at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa. Her work has been widely anthologized and has recently appeared or is forthcoming in Octopus, 1913, Bomb, Hotel Amerika, the Corpse, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. Her work is included in American Hybrid, just out from Norton. Recent prose has been collected in Civil Disobediences: Poetics & Politics in Action, and in other anthologies, and the Denver Quarterly recently published her essay on the poetry of John Yau. Jason Eckardt’s setting of “The Distance (This)” (from Subject) premiered at the Miller Theater in New York and was performed at the Musica Nova festival in Helsinki. She was invited to participate in the Taipei International Poetry Festival in 2009. Her fourth collection of poetry is forthcoming from the University of California Press in 2011.
