BIOS:
Dylan Harris is a poet who has authored over 11 volumes of poetry. His collections include antwerp (wurm press) and the smoke (Knives Forks and Spoons Press) as well as his most His most recent book, BIG TOWN BLUES (2018). He is also a programmer, and calls himself “a brit abroad”. He exhibits photos and founded and runs corrupt press, which publishes poetry and prose by European-based Anglophone and non-Anglophone authors writing in English. Currently based in Luxembourg, Harris can often be found travelling to read and to help promote his Corrupt Books authors. In the past, he ran “the rant of the powerless” and the Paris-based reading series, Poets-Live. Katy Masuga: Recent Henry Miller Memorial Library writer-in-resident, Katy Masuga is drawn to the disruption of conventional forms, influenced by Virginia Woolf, W. G. Sebald and Marilynne Robinson among others. Her publications include fiction and nonfiction among them two novels and two monographs: The Origin of Vermilion (Spuyten Duyvil, 2016), The Blue of Night (Caffeinated Press, forthcoming), Henry Miller and How He Got That Way (Edinburgh UP, 2011) and The Secret Violence of Henry Miller (Camden House, 2011), as well as numerous short stories and dozens of essays and anthology chapters on subjects ranging from contemporary altered book art to Blanchot and Wittgenstein in Beckett to Shakespeare and Company in Paris to the vegetarian diet of Shelley's creature in Frankenstein. She holds joint doctorates in Comparative Literature and Theory and Criticism and teaches for the University of Washington in Paris.

Amy Evans Bauer is a British-Austrian poet based in London. Her publications
include anti-fa-la-la: songs against statues (tender buttons/face, 2018), The Report of the Iraq Enquiry: Poetic Summary (Larynx Press, 2017), and Stalking Gerard Manley Hopkins (Salient Seedling/Woodland Pattern Book Center, 2016). Her poetry features in the anthology Resist Much, Obey Little: Inaugural Poems to the Resistance (Dispatches, 2017).  Her montages appear in Chicago Review, Jacket, and elsewhere. She has performed SOUND((ING))S at waterfront locations across the US and UK, and at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. The transcript PASS PORT (Shearsman, 2018) is the fourth in a sequence of chapbooks, following on from CONT. (Shearsman, 2015), The Sea Quells (Shearsman, 2013) and Collecting Shells (Oystercatcher, 2011). She co-organises the Contemporary Innovative Poetry Research Seminar at the School of Advanced Studies, IES, University of London, and is the publisher of Larynx Press.

Anne Talvaz est née à Bruxelles en 1963, et a vécu en Chine et au Brésil. Elle a publié 3 recueils de poésie (Imagines, Farrago, 2002; Panaches de mer, lithophytes et coquilles, Comp'Act, 2006; Pourquoi le Minotaure est triste, L'Act'Mem, 2010), ainsi qu'un roman (Ce que nous sommes, L'Act'Mem, 2010) et un récit de voyage (Un départ annoncé, trois années en Chine, L'Act'Mem, 2010). Elle a traduit en français des recueils de John Ashbery, Nina Karacosta, Pansy Maurer-Alvarez et Alice Notley; ainsi que Katana de Marie Etienne en anglais, qui sera publié par Ravenna Press cet automne. Elle travaille comme traductrice technique et commerciale et vit en banlieue parisienne et au Mans.



Rufo Quintavalle est né à Londres en 1978, a étudié à Oxford et l’University of Iowa. Pansy Maurer-Alvarez est née à Puerto Rico, a grandi en Pennsylvanie aux USA
et a émigré en Suisse en 1973.  Elle est l’auteure de 5 recueils de poésie : ANT-SMALL AND AMOROUS et IN A FORM OF SUSPENSION (2012 et 2014 de corrupt press, Paris), WHEN THE BODY SAYS IT’S LEAVING et DOLORES:  THE ALPINE YEARS (20014 et 1996, Hanging Loose Press, Brooklyn, USA).  Ses poèmes ont été traduit en français (par Anne Talvaz), allemand et espagnol. Elle a également fait publié ces poèmes dans des ouvrages collectifs et des revues littéraires. Elle contribue à la revue anglaise, Tears in the Fence et elle organize le cycle mensuel de lectures Poets Live à Paris. Pansy Maurer-Alvarez was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in Pennsylvania and emigrated to Switzerland in 1973.  She began writing as a teenager and completed 11 years of literary studies at universities in the US, Spain and Switzerland.  Upon moving to Paris in 1991 and meeting Alice Notley, she decided to devote herself to poetry full time. Her poems have been widely published in Europe and the US and some poems have been translated into French, German and Spanish.  She has work in several anthologies and is the author of five collections, most recently ANT-SMALL AND AMOROUS and IN A FORM OF SUSPENSION (both from corrupt press, Paris, 2012 and 2014).  Her first books were published in Brooklyn by Hanging Loose press: WHEN THE BODY SAYS IT’S LEAVING (2004) and DOLORES:  THE ALPINE YEARS (1996). BIOS:

Hyam Yared est une poète et romancière née à Beyrouth en 1975. Son premier roman, L’Armoire des ombres (éditions Wespieser), paru en 2006 (Prix France-Liban 2007), abordait le poids des traditions et les faux-semblants de la société libanaise, au-delà de l’apparence trompeuse de la femme libanaise « libérée ». Son deuxième roman Sous la tonnelle paru chez le même éditeur en octobre 2009 (prix Phoenix 2009 et Richelieu de la francophonie 2011) aborde les questions des rapports hommes-femmes dans un pays marqué à vif par la guerre civile, thématiques qui lui sont chères et qu’elle reprend dans ses recueils poétiques Blessures de l’eau (Dar an nahar) et naitre si mourir (L’idée bleue) qui sont une réflexion sur les enjeux du rapport hommes-femmes et l’incidence du refoulé sur la scène sociétale et politique. Son dernier recueil Esthétique de la prédation, présenté au salon du livre de Beyrouth 2011 dans le cadre de l’installation artistique de la plasticienne Amal Saadé, se penche sur la question de la quête des libertés individuelles au sein des révolutions arabes. Son travail romanesque a bénéficié de la Bourse del Duca 2007 décernée par l’Académie française. Sélectionnée par le Hay Festival of littérature dans le cadre de Beirut 39, Hyam Yared fait partie de la nouvelle génération d’auteurs arabes francophones et participe aux chroniques de l’émission La grande Table, sur France Culture. Dylan Harris was born in blighty, before Sputnik flew. He’s since lived in Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, France and, soon, the Netherlands. He wrote Europe (wurm press, 2008) & antwerp (2009), wrote and photographed the smoke (The Knives, Forks and Spoons Press, 2010) & the forthcoming The Liberation of [Placeholder] (planned 2012), and composed and performed Flock State (Tunecore, 2007). His works have been on and in nthposition, Upstairs at Duroc, Issue Zero, etc. In Dublin, with Kit Fryatt, he coconstructed and coöperated wurm im apfel, wurmfest and wurm press (wurmimapfel.net).
