Marie-Louise Chapelle est née à Nevers en 1974. Elle a été publiée pour la première fois par Jean Daive dans sa revue FIN (n°7, 8 et 16). Son livre mettre. (Théâtre Typographique, 2006) propose une « expérience des limites, celles du sens, des formes et des pratiques, des corps comme du texte ». Elle est l’auteur de plusieurs livres d’artistes avec Emmanuelle Pidoux : Corps finis quelconques et fractions qui s’en déduisent par la méthode de l’approximation (1999), La fille avec laquelle j’allais à l’hôtel (2000), et Plus-value (2001). Elle a également écrit des textes qui ont paru dans les Cahiers du Refuge (n°s 149 et 113) avec le cipM et dans Critique, les intensifs: poètes du XXI siècle (2008) (--voir le recensement de ce volume sur Poezibao). Lush / Bootstrap Press, 2007) et TRI/VIA (Pub Lush, 2003), écrit en collaboration avec Veronica Corpuz, ainsi que plusieurs "plaquettes", notamment As transient as square or inside 32 (tir aux pigeons, 2008).. Sa poésie apparait dans les anthologies For the Time Being: The Bootstrap Book of Poetic Journals et Saints of Hysteria: A Half-Century of Collaborative American Poetry. Des entretiens pédagogique ont été publiés dans Rain Taxi, Teachers and Writers, et Transformations. Des extraits de son nouveau manuscrit She, A Blueprint for InterSurface, avec des collages de Sue Hammond West, ont paru ou vont paraitre dans les revues Trickhouse, Mandorla, Foursquare, Sous Rature, Bombay Gin… Elle enseigne à Naropa University aux Etats Unis et se passe actuellement une année sabbatique en Angleterre.
