BIOS:
Lénaïg Cariou
est auteure, traductrice et chercheuse qui résident entre Berlin et Paris. Elle a deux livres qui vont paraître en 2024 – A main levée (LansKine) and les dires (POL). En parallèle d’une thèse en poésie contemporaine à l’Université Paris 8, elle a cofondé en 2019 le collectif de traduction queerféministe. Connexion Limitée avec qui elle traduit de la poésie états-unienne en français, et inversement ; elles ont publié récemment Mónica de la Torre, The Happy End / Bienvenue à tous (Joca Seria, 2022), Eleni Sikelianos, Ce que j’ai connu (L’usage, 2023) et, à paraître en 2024 : Andrienne Rich (Le rêve d'un langage commun, L'Arche). Elle a également coorganisé le Festival Poet.e.s.s.e.s* (Paris, mais 2021) et a codirigé la revue Point de chute de 2020 à 2022. Ses poèmes et traductions paraissent régulièrement en revues en Europe et en Amérique du nord (Po&sie, Sève, Sabir, Loop, Radical(e), Jef Klak, Parmenar Online, Le Pied, L’écharde, Lychen, Olga…).

Mullen's collections of poetry include EtC (Solid Objects, November 2023), Complicated Grief, (Solid Objects, 2015), Enduring Freedom (Otis Books / Seismicity Editions, 2012), Dark Archive (U of CA Press, 2011), Murmur (Futurepoem, 2007), Subject (U of CA Press, 2005), After I Was Dead (U of GA Press, 1999), The Tales of Horror (U of IL Press, 1999), and The Surface (1991), which was a National Poetry Series selection. Known for writing book-length and hybrid texts, Mullen’s work has been praised for its wild invention and play. Her poems are included in anthologies such as American Hybrid (2009), The Arcadia Project: North American Postmodern Pastoral (2012), and I’ll Drown my Book: Conceptual Writing by Women (2012), among others. The composer Jason Eckardt’s setting of her poem “The Distance (This)” was released as Undersong by Mode records in 2011. Mullen’s many honors and awards include foundations from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Rona Jaffe Foundation, and the MacDowell Colony. She is the recipient of the Ironwood’s Stanford Prize and a Creative Writing special interest delegate for the Modern Language Association. Mullen teaches in the Summer Writing Program at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poets at Naropa and was the Kenan Chair in the Humanities at Wake Forest University until the end of December. « a exercé contractuellement à Rennes la charge de la mise à jour des registres d'état civil par l'apposition de mentions en marge des actes. » Comme Michelle Grangaud (Etat civil, P.O.L, 1998), il ne croit pas que nous « ayons un nom ». « Avoir un nom » ? un rapport « grammaticalement, logiquement frelaté », écrit-il. Emilien Chesnot, né en 1991, vient d'achever la rédaction d'un livre dédié à l'état civil. Un premier livre, avec l’artiste : Dominique Lardeux, intitulé faiblesse d’un seul, est paru en 2015 aux éditions Centrifuges, suivi d’il est un air aux éditions Aencrages&Co avec l’artiste : Jean-Noël Bachès en 2016 et ensuite In/carne – avec l’artiste : Gilles du Bouchet (éditions Æncrages & Co –2020), Et tout récemment, Fentanyl flowers (éditions Théâtre Typographique – 2022),. Dernier livre paru : lem ouch, supplément à la revue niqui causse. Ses textes ont également paru dans d’autres revues, Ouste, Remue.net, N47, Plexus-S, Sitaudis. et en français et en traduction en anglais par Michelle Noteboom (co-fondatrice d’Ivy Writers Paris) dans Senna Hoy.
