Marielle Anselmo est enseignante, critique et poète. Elle vit à Paris. Elle a grandi en Tunisie, dans une famille d'ascendances italiennes, avant de poursuivre des études de lettres en France, à Aix-en-Provence puis à l'Université de Paris 8, où elle se forme, en particulier, auprès d'Hélène Cixous. Professeure agrégée de lettres modernes, elle enseigne actuellement le français à l’INALCO (Institut National des Langues Orientales) à Paris. Par ses activités critiques, elle a contribué à plusieurs ouvrages collectifs. Ses articles portent sur Marcel Proust, Hélène Cixous, Dominique Fourcade, Etel Adnan, Kenzaburô Ôé, Édouard Glissant, etc. En poésie, elle est l'auteur du livre-poème Une nuit (éditions Les Arêtes), de plusieurs livres d’artistes avec Colette Deblé et Pierre Zanzucchi, ainsi que  de deux recueils : Jardins (Éditions Tarabuste) et Vers la mer (Editions Unicité). Ses poèmes ont été traduits en anglais, grec, arabe, vietnamien et japonais. Elle en a donné une cinquantaine de lectures publiques en France, en Tunisie, en Suisse, au Japon, seule ou accompagnée d'autres artistes.

 

Jason Stoneking is a poet, diarist, and performing artist originally from the

United States, who has made his home in Paris. He has published several collections of poetry and essays, and has also written songs and films. Recently, his practice has concentrated on the creation of handwritten and site-specific texts. For his Bespoke Books series, he writes an entire unique book by hand, in a single draft, either for an individual reader, or in documentation of an event or residency. In his video series Found Stages, he improvises spontaneous poems in spaces that feel suitable, if not intended, for performance. For his newest series, Portrait Sittings, he invites subjects to pose for him as they would for a painter, while he composes their portrait in handwritten words, then presents them with the original manuscript he has drafted during the session.

 

William Walrond Strangmeyer was born in Roanoke, Virginia,

in 1945 and grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he went to Rutgers University, studying classics, music and psychology. He has worked in many different fields including amusement parks, banks, book stores, cinema, door-to-door sales, poker games, restaurants, taxi driving and warehouses. A forty-five-year resident of Paris, he now earns his living as an English language trainer and translator. He is the former co-editor of Upstairs at Duroc. He is the author of several volumes of poetry and can often be heard sharing new work at Spoken Word Paris. Additional interests include a variety of combat sports and listening to old music (doo-wop, Gregorian chant, hippie music, Czerny). He is also Archon of Paris for the Moorish Orthodox Church.

Bénédicte Heim est née à Strasbourg, elle a longtemps enseigné, par choix, en banlieue parisienne et a publié une dizaine d'ouvrages qui sont le fruit d'un travail de création mené avec ses élèves.  Elle est l'auteure d'une quinzaine de romans, qui se distinguent par leur dispositif et par l'inventivité de la langue. Ils ont été publiés principalement aux éditions Les Contrebandiers Éditeurs (https://www.lescontrebandiersediteurs.fr/auteurs/benedicte/ ) et Et le bruit de ses talons (https://www.etlebruitdesestalons.fr/benedicte-heim/ ).  Ses plus récentes publications sont : Hautes coutures 2019, Tu fais pleurer tes fées marraines 2020, Tu n'es plus ce bolide qui fonce dans le noir 2021, tous trois parus chez Et le bruit de ses talons. Son dernier roman, L'Inamour (2022), vient de paraître chez Quidam Éditeur. 

Bremner Duthie est chanteur et acteur.  Ses interprétations incluent le role de Timothy avec La Scène National de Quimpers dans leur production de Strike Up The Band de George Gershwin; Mr. Mister dans Cradle will Rock, de Marc Blitzstein, avec les Clefs de Chants et Lille Opera; plusiers roles dans Jaques Brel is Alive and Well, de Mort Shuman,avec le companie Parisbrel, Figaro dans Les Noces de Figaro de Mozart, avec Westcoast Opera.  Interprète de musique classique et contemporaine, ses interprétations incluent la performance avant-garde Eight Songs for a Mad King de Sir Peter Maxwell Davies et Time and Beyond de Leslie Basset.  Son spectacle ‘one-man’ avec des chansons de Kurt Weill a gagne des critiques de quatre étoiles partout dans le monde.  Né à New York Bremner a vécu et chanté au Canada, en Ecosse, aux Etats-Unis, et en France.  Il réside à La Nouvelle Orléans. www.bremnersings.com

L’écrivain anglaise Beth Davyson vit et travaille à Marseille. Ses poèmes ont paru dans les revues littéraires The Poetry Review, the Moth, Black Box Manifold, Tears in the Fence, Solidarity Park Poetry et parentheses ainsi que l’anthologie de la poésie A City Imagined, publié par la Poetry Society d’Angleterre. Beth Davyson studied poetry as an MA in Sheffield, UK, with Adam Piette and Agnes Lehocksky. She has published in The Poetry Review, the Moth, Black Box Manifold, Tears in the Fence, Solidarity Park Poetry and parentheses as well as the anthology A City Imagined, published by the Poetry Society. She read for the annual Tears in the Fence Poetry Festival in Stourpaine, England in Sept 2022 and in 2020—she appeared in the Multilingual Poetry video from that event https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2kQpvMhRqQ . Her work has been shortlisted three times for the Bridport Prize. She currently lives and works in Marseille, France. 

Bremner Duthie has spent 25 years exploring the songs that fascinate him and the strange artform that is kabarett (...or cabaret). From John Cage to Lou Reed, from Joni Mitchell to Charles Ives, and always with a special focus on the amazing songwriting of Kurt Weill and Bertold Brecht, Bremner has reveled in recording and performing songs that sit at the edges of the canon of popular song. Bremner was born in New York and grew up in the USA, Scotland and Canada. Singing is all he ever wanted to do. Every afternoon in New York, his family would hear him down the street singing his way home from school. He started with Punk Rock bands, moved on to singing Opera, and trained at the Centre for New Opera in Canada.
