Nicolas Tardy, né en 1970, vit à Marseille. Après des études d'art et de multimédia, il se consacre uniquement à l'écriture. Il publie sur différents supports (liste complète sur www.nicolastardy.com) et a fait paraître 5 livres aux éditions de l’attente, notamment "Un homme tout juste vivant - Pays des merveilles" (2011) et S.F. comme "Syndrome Fusionnel" (2007). Il anime des ateliers d'écriture depuis 1999 et co-dirige avec Caroline Scherb, les éditions Contre-mur (www.contre-mur.com). Son travail a été traduit en américain par sa co-lectrice de ce soir, Geneva Chao : Encrusted on the Living, traduction en américain de Avant l'arrivée (2012) ; un homme tout juste vivant pays des merveilles (2011) ; LE QUÉBEC LIVRE (2009), par Genève Chao & François Luong, aux éditions [lx] press, Los Angeles (USA), 2015. 

Genève/Geneva Chao is the author of one of us is wave one of us is shore, a discours amoureux in French and English (Otis Books | Seismicity Editions, 2016), and Hillary Is Dreaming, an imagined dream journal of Hillary Rodham Clinton during the 2016 primary season (Make Now, 2016). She is the translator of Gérard Cartier’s Tristran and, with François Luong, of Nicolas Tardy’s Encrusted on the Living. She translated pieces by Christophe Tarkos for the collection Ma Langue Est Poétique (Roof Books, 2001) and pieces by Yves Di Manno for A Review of Two Worlds: French and American Poetry in Translation (Otis, 2005).  Her work has also appeared in numerous literary magazines and anthologies, such as: Mission at Tenth, Boxkite, Boston Review, n/a literary journal, New American Writing, The L.A. Telephone Book, (Satellite) Telephone, DIAGRAM, Can We Have Our Ball Back?, Boog City, and other journals. Tonight she will be reading from her own work and sharing translations into English of Nicolas Tardy’s writing.
